The CSB7xx-Kit is designed to support all CSB7xx series System On a Module (SOM) boards.


With its built in 4.3" 480 x 272 LCD with Touch and LED Backlight, the CSB7xx-Kit turns any CSB7xx SOM into a full featured software development platform.

 

The CSB702 "CSB7xx Base Board" that forms the basis of the CSB7xx-Kit has the following features:

  • Integrated 4.3" 480 x 272 LCD Display with 4-Wire Touch and LED Backlight

 

  • 41-Pin Interface to optional CSB909 LCD Display Boards

 

  • 164-Pin Edge Connector for CSB902 I/O Expansion Board or User Customization

 

  • Mini-B USB Device Connector and Dual USB Host Type-A Connector

 

  • 10/100 Ethernet Transformer/Jack with Power over Ethernet (PoE) Capability

 

  • DB9 Male Connector for RS232 Debug Serial Port (TXD/RXD)

 

  • Selectable AC97 and I2S Audio Codecs with HEADPHONE/LINE OUT Jack

 

  • Single CAN Transceiver Interface via 10-Pin Shrouded Header (if CPU has CAN)

 

  • 20-Pin ARM JTAG Header (PowerPC and Coldfire Support via adapter)

 

  • Primary 4-Bit SDIO Compliant SD/MMC Socket

The optional CSB902 "I/O Expansion Board" provides additional functionality along with the ability to perform hardware development quickly and easilly:

 

  • 164-Pin Edge Connector mates to CSB702 via included CSB902BP2 Backplane

 

  • 3.5mm Audio Jacks for LINE INand MIC IN (Codec is on CSB702)

 

  • Dual SJA1000 CAN Controllers with 3KV Isolated CAN Transceivers

 

  • Additional SD/MMC Socket With Multiplexer for SPI or SD mode

 

  • 20mm Coin Cell (CR2032) Holder for Increased RTC Battery Backup Time

 

  • Three CSB908 I/O Sites for RS232/485, S-Video, PoE, Battery Charging and more

The CSB702 Base Board forms the basis of the CSB7xx-Kit. It has the following features:
