Maintainability predictions enable you to analyse the repair metrics of your system or process. By offering an organised approach to defining system repair properties, Relex ® Maintainability Prediction provides a solid framework for performing maintainability analyses. By evaluating repair statistics, you can work to minimise system repair times, thereby minimising downtime and increasing your system availability. Relex Maintainability Prediction allows you to define your repair tasks and easily reuse this information throughout your design. Using these metrics, Relex Maintainability Prediction calculates a host of maintenance parameters including Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Corrective Maintenance Time, Mean Preventive Maintenance Time, and Maximum Corrective Maintenance Time.
Fully compliant. Relex Maintainability Prediction is based on the accepted standard for maintainability predictions MIL-HDBK-472, Procedures 2, 5A, and 5B. Relex Maintainability Prediction organizes your analysis process by incorporating these methodologies in an easy-to-use, functional framework. You can define repair tasks as you choose: down to a detailed level or at a higher, functional repair level. Relex Maintainability Prediction also supports Fault Detection and Isolation (FD&I) outputs.
Comprehensive calculation set. The Relex Maintainability Prediction module can perform various calculations including Percent Isolation to a Single Replaceable Item, Mean Maintenance Man hours per Repair, Mean Maintenance Man hours per Operating Hour, Maximum Corrective Maintenance Time, and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Result selections are user-controlled, so that you can see the repair metrics you need for your specific application.
The Relex Architect platform. Relex Maintainability Prediction includes all the advanced features of Relex Architect's robust, proven framework. A rich user interface is coupled with innovative features such as the invaluable Project Navigator for centralised Project control, the Relex Bar for customised one-click operations, the Task List for quick access to commonly used tasks, and data filtering for ultimate user control of data views. Comprehensive reporting capabilities include easy-to-use Report and Graph Wizards for complete user customisation of output reports and graphs. Relex's Import/Export Wizard enables you to transfer your Project data to and from Relex in a variety of popular formats, including Microsoft Excel ® and Access ®. Additionally, Relex Architect modules are built on a common database, for optimal product integration and data sharing capabilities.
Built for the enterprise. Relex's Enterprise Edition supports the high performance, scalable needs of large user bases. Features such as support for Microsoft SQL Server ® and Oracle ® databases, permission based security, user and group roles, front end web interfaces, Relex Dashboard for a high-level overview of system metrics, audit trails for tracking data modifications, and customisable data connectors insure that Relex meets the needs of full scale, enterprise-wide teams.
Complete solution. Designed with concurrent engineering in mind, Relex Maintainability Prediction is an exceptional maintainability analysis tool. Relex Maintainability Prediction includes a task library taken directly from the MIL-HDBK-472 standard on maintainability. You can append to the supplied task library or create any number of your own task libraries. You may also create and define your own custom repair levels, in addition to, or in place of, the supplied levels of depot, intermediate, and organisational, to better reflect the processes in place at your organisation. Maintainability Group definition for Procedure 5A computation is fully supported including fault isolation methodology and reassembly parameters. Additionally, you can export data from Relex Maintainability Prediction into a MIL-STD-1388 2B LSAR compatible format.
